Subtropical winter...

The light at this latitude (27 degrees north) is quiete different to what I was used to. Clouds and winter-light creating a great display of clair-obscures. Cumulus changing in Cumulonimbus leaving it's rain in the ocean or in the nearby mountains...

This oil painting was part of a bigger painting but it didn't convince me. I cut out the parts that I liked, repainted it and there it is... It's a view from the beach towards the "barra chica" a small reef in front of the Las Canteras Beach.
