Girl with an attitude...

Something completely different. A new concept. Starting off, painting my daughter Liz. Maybe not the most easy way to initiate a new theme... But definitely very challenging. The painting is inspired by Manet's "The flutist" and he got his inspiration from Velazquez. He painted "El bufón" on a vaguely defined background attracting all he attention to the subject. I tried to recreate the same concept. Defining a bit more the background to emphasize the energy of an an eleven year old girl with an attitude.
